Visit to Siemens Concept Center 4 Industry

How do industrial companies cope with the ever changing market, demanding customers, and ever stricter regulations? The digital transformation and all inovations that are linked, hold the answer. ACE Belgium is partner of Siemens at their Concept Center 4 Industry (CC4I) in Huizingen.

A delegation of ACE Belgium recently visited the Siemens CC4I to see for themselves how this environment can help ACE customers on their way to further digitalisation of their machines and factories.

At the CC4I there is a clear focus on interaction and experience of Siemens products and services. To achieve this, a 35m2 touch screen has been placed that covers the back and side walls of the room. On this screen the participants can see visual analyses, consult vast knowledge databases, see relevant examples or a complete product and service portfolio.

Proof of Concepts

Shortly there will be various prototypes or Proof Of Concepts displayed that participants can work with. The first Proof Of Concept is already in place and has been designed and built by the ACE engineers of Lummen. This prototype demonstrates the assembly of a pen. Of this machine a complete digital twin has been made. On the screen you can then see what the advantages of have a digital twin entail. It is even possible to project the digital twin through Augmented Reality which makes it seem that the machine (in operation) is right in front of you on the table.
