  • You lead and coordinate the creation of functional safety work products according to ISO-regulation.
  • You support your colleagues in performing software FMEA’s and FTA’s.
  • You also provide support regarding the required test verification.
  • You collaborate with project managers, the development team and customers on Functional Safety.
  • You assist in the development of safety and software architectures to ensure compliance with ISO.
  • You conduct reviews with other teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles.
  • You have a Master in Software, Mechatronics, Electronics or Electromechanical engineering.
  • Experience in software engineering is a must.
  • You are familiar with automotive development and qualitative processes (FMEA/FTA/ETA) for software development.
  • You have knowledge of requirements management tools (such as Polarion, DOORS).
  • Experience in safety engineering in powertrain technologies is a plus.
  • Experience in Software Quality and process (like SPICE and CMMI) is a plus.
  • You are able to independently steer Iso-projects with your strong analytic and problem-solving
  • skills, while also providing guidance to junior safety engineers.
  • You are experienced in the execution and management of system analysis.
  • You are a team player with good communication skills.
  • You have an eye for detail and you favor a structured & qualitative working.
