Position Summary

Following the growth of the team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Finance and Administration Specialist in order to build out the department, focusing on accounting, controlling, data and document management, compliance and regulatory affairs. The person will report to the branch manager for the day-to-day operations and to the group controller on all group related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company
  • Prepare the monthly management reporting for the group and annual financial statements
  • Responsible for all regulatory reporting, including VAT and CIT declarations
  • Overseeing the (outsourced) payroll administration and facilitate recruitment processes
  • Processing in ERP system items like project and task settings, timesheets and sick reports
  • Prepare sales invoices
  • Processing bank statements
  • Research bookkeeping
  • Processing salaries
  • Active support of the branch management in everyday duties
  • Implementation of current administrative tasks related to the functioning of the branch
  • Handling company correspondence - incoming and outgoing - division and distribution of internal documentation
  • Ensuring the correct flow of information and documents (orders, contracts, invoices)
  • Cooperation with other units in the Organization (including: the financial department, marketing department, IT department, HR department, legal department)
  • Contact with external organizations and end suppliers (tax advisory, accountancy)
  • Organization of training courses and company events

 

Competencies

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, efficient and flexible
  • Knowledge of Polish accounting rules and company law
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, experience with an ERP system is mandatory
  • Excellent work ethics and values
  • Feel comfortable working independently and within a team

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor or Master degree in accounting, economics or finance
  • Experience in a similar role, fiduciary or service provider
  • The ideal candidate will be fluent in Polish and English (both written and spoken), knowledge of Dutch is a plus
