Accountmanager (Belgium, Lummen)
Would you like to connect engineering, commercial opportunities and people in a role with significant responsibility? ACE is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help grow our consultancy business in Belgium. You will develop client relationships, identify commercial opportunities and ensure the right match between clients’ technical needs and our engineering services.
ACE has offices in Lummen and Bruges, Belgium, where we also work alongside our subsidiary NiniX Technologies. Drawing on your technical background, you will help identify appropriate solutions, ranging from on-site engineering to complete machine-building projects. Where relevant, you will also connect clients with NiniX Technologies, which specialises in prototype machine building and electronics for extreme environments.
What will you do?
- Business partner: you will build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities through client visits, events, trade fairs and your professional network. You will turn commercial signals into concrete assignments and long-term partnerships.
- People management: you will help support our engineering consultants, guide their professional development and work with the team to maintain a strong connection between the consultant, client and assignment.
- Talent identification: you will contribute to growing your team and recognise which strengths, interests and ambitions are the best fit for our clients and projects.
- Technical advice: you will understand clients’ technical requirements and collaborate effectively with our project department. You will take a solution-oriented approach, from machine-building projects to engineering carried out on the client’s premises.
What do you bring?
- At least five years of experience in a commercial role within engineering, consultancy or technical services.
- Master’s-level thinking and the ability to work confidently in a technical environment.
- The ability to speak the language of engineering and understand both consultants and clients at a technical level.
- Experience in client-facing work and a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships.
- A collaborative mindset, a strong focus on results and the ability to bring others with you.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to your audience while remaining true to yourself.
- Fluency in Dutch and English. French is an additional advantage.
