Which types of rides and attractions does ACE support?
ACE supports ride manufacturers, attraction developers and operators with engineering for ride structures, control systems, electrical infrastructure and embedded hardware. The scope is defined per project.
Can ACE support only one discipline or project phase?
Yes. ACE can take responsibility for a specific work package, a particular project phase or the complete engineering scope.
How does ACE work with our internal engineering team?
Depending on your project, we work through capacity extension (engineers integrated into your team), co-development (a dedicated team working alongside your departments) or a turnkey engineering package.
Does ACE support safety-related engineering?
Yes. Our scope includes safety PLC architecture and programming, functional safety validation support, and compliance and standards support.
Can you work with our CAD tools and standards?
Yes. ACE engineers work with the software and tools your project requires and follow your design standards.
Can ACE support testing and commissioning on site?
Yes. ACE supports factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and can provide engineering support during commissioning.
Who owns the design results and intellectual property?
Ownership of design results and intellectual property is defined in the project agreement before the work starts.
How quickly can a project start?
After an initial technical discussion, we prepare a proposal with scope, planning and milestones. The start date is agreed together, based on the complexity of the project.
Which ACE office handles ride and attraction projects?
Your contact is ACE Lummen in Belgium. Depending on the scope and the expertise required, engineers from our offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Portugal can contribute.
