When our clients use project execution
Project execution is the right model when the scope can be defined and your team needs to stay focused on core development.
Machine development
Assembly station without in-house capacity
An automatic assembly station is needed, but the in-house team is committed to other projects.
ACE responseACE develops the station from kinematic concept to factory acceptance: mechanical and electrical design, PLC programming and documentation.
Detail engineering
Sub-assembly with weeks of detailing
The concept is defined, but detailing a sub-assembly requires weeks of dedicated work.
ACE responseACE executes the detailing and delivers validated 3D models, manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.
Electrical and automation
Mechanics complete, controls outstanding
The mechanical design is complete, but the electrical design and machine software are still missing.
ACE responseACE delivers the electrical design in EPLAN, the PLC software and on-site commissioning.
Industrialisation
Prototype not yet ready for series production
The prototype works, but the product is not yet ready for series production.
ACE responseACE adapts the design for production (DFM/DFA) and develops the processes and test equipment.
What ACE delivers
ACE delivers everything the project requires. Deliverables are defined per phase in the proposal and validated with you before moving on to the next phase. Some examples:
01
3D models and manufacturing drawings
Ready for manufacturing, in your CAD/PLM system.
02
Bills of materials
Structured for purchasing and production.
03
Electrical design
Schematics, panel layouts and wiring in EPLAN.
04
Machine software
PLC programming and motion control, tested during commissioning.
05
Structural calculation
Calculation reports and FEA verification according to the applicable standards.
06
Technical documentation
Manuals, CE technical file and product dossier.
07
Validation
Test reports and verification against the acceptance criteria.

Frequently asked questions
Can ACE execute only one phase of the project?
Yes. The scope can be limited to one phase, such as detail engineering, electrical design or technical documentation, or cover the complete project.
How do we follow the project during execution?
Through joint design reviews at the end of each phase and status reports from the ACE project manager, according to the agreed schedule.
How is intellectual property managed?
Ownership of the results and intellectual property is defined in the project contract, before work starts.
Do you work with our software and standards?
Yes. ACE builds the team with engineers experienced in the software the project requires, whether CAD, CAE, EPLAN or other, and works according to your PDM/PLM systems and design standards.
How soon can a project start?
After an initial technical meeting, ACE prepares a proposal with scope, schedule and milestones. The start date is agreed jointly.
Assess your engineering project
Send a short description of the scope and timeline. ACE will analyse the requirements and present a proposal with scope, schedule and milestones.
