Engineering capacity aligned with your project demands

Fast access to expertise

Pre-screened engineers with proven industrial experience, available within weeks instead of months, and within a few days in urgent situations.

Flexible scaling

Increase or reduce capacity as programmes evolve, without long-term headcount commitments.

Full integration

Engineers join your project team on your premises. They work with your facilities or bring their own CAE tools, as you prefer.

ACE engineers, no body-leasing

All engineers are ACE employees, supported by our multidisciplinary in-house teams across six European offices.

Available engineering profiles

Mechanical design engineer

3D CAD, detailing, tolerance stack-ups and manufacturing drawings.

Electrical engineer (EPLAN)

Schematics, cabinet layouts and electrical documentation.

Structural engineer

Calculations, FEA and verification to applicable standards.

Electromechanical project engineer

Coordination of mechanical and electrical scope through to commissioning.

Technical documentation specialist

BOMs, manuals, technical files and CE documentation.

Automation & control engineer

PLC programming, motion control, electrical cabinet design and commissioning.

A structured four-step onboarding process

  1. Define the profile

We translate your technical needs into a precise profile: skills, tools, seniority and duration.

  2. Receive a matching engineer

We propose an engineer whose skills, experience and availability match the profile.

  3. Validate and start

You validate the proposal and we agree the start date together.

  4. Onboard and follow up

An ACE account manager monitors performance and satisfaction throughout the assignment.

Flexible working arrangements

On-site

The engineer works at your premises as part of your team.

Remote from an ACE office

From our Dutch offices in Eindhoven and Delft, or near-shore from Porto, Poznań, Brugge or Lummen.

Hybrid

A combination of on-site presence and remote engineering, as the project requires.

Frequently asked questions

Are the engineers ACE employees?

Yes. All engineers are employed by ACE and supported by our multidisciplinary in-house teams. We do not offer body-leasing.

How quickly can you provide a suitable engineer?

The timeline depends on the required skills and the availability of specialists. Once we understand your requirements, we provide relevant engineer profiles together with an estimated start date.

Can I start with just one engineer?

Yes. The engagement can involve a single specialist, several engineers or a complete project team. Capacity can be scaled as your project evolves.

Does the collaboration require a long-term commitment?

No. The scope of work and number of hours can be adjusted to match current project needs and workload.

How does onboarding a new engineer work?

Our engineers regularly join teams using different CAD, CAE and PDM systems. We typically start with well-defined tasks that allow the engineer to quickly become familiar with the client's product, processes and standards.

Can the engineers work with our tools and systems?

Yes. Our engineers work natively with industry-standard CAD, CAE and PLM tools and adapt to your established design environment and quality standards.

Do your engineers have experience across different industries?

Yes. Our engineers support clients across a wide range of industries, including automotive, machine building, high-tech, energy and manufacturing.

What if my resource requirements change during the project?

The Resource Extension model allows you to increase or reduce engineering capacity as project requirements and available resources change.

Can I expand the team with additional specialists later on?

Yes. As your project develops, we can add complementary expertise, including mechanical design, electrical engineering (EPLAN), automation, structural analysis and technical documentation.

Can an assignment evolve into project outsourcing?

Yes. When the scope becomes clearly defined, the collaboration can move to a project outsourcing model, with ACE taking technical responsibility for the agreed deliverables.
