As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you are responsible for the mechanical aspect of various challenging projects. You work closely with multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in the development process. Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Design and modeling of mechanical components and systems.
  • Perform feasibility studies and risk analysis for new designs.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of mechanical designs.
  • Preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, drawings and reports.
  • Perform testing and analysis to validate performance and reliability of designs.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and propose innovative solutions.
  • You have a master's degree in electromechanics or mechanical engineering, or equivalent through experience.
  • Preferably you already have relevant experience, but we are also open to inquisitive school leavers.
  • You like variety & variation. You also have broad interests related to mechanical design, mechanical engineering, mechanical and structural engineering.
  • You have knowledge of 1 or more CAD packages such as Siemens NX, Inventor, Creo and Solidworks.
  • CAD design is your passion.
  • You are communicative and enjoy working in a team.
  • You have good spatial insight and possess analytical thinking skills.
  • You are flexible in terms of content work and work environment.
